Making your child’s baby food is easier than you think. With just a few ingredients you can make a delicious, nutritious meal for your child, which can also serve as a snack for your entire family.

Start with fresh, seasonal ingredients available at your local farmer’s market or grocery store. For this week’s recipe, we have a leek, rainbow chard, some spinach, purple diakon radish, (1 scoop) Vital Proteins Gelatin (available at Elysia Life Care or you can purchase online), Himalayan Salt, Organic Cold Pressed Olive Oil.

Chop the vegetables and boil them in a small amount of chicken broth until no longer cold or hard.  Put veggies and broth in a high speed blender, add gelatin, salt, olive oil.  Blend until the contents are completely pureed.  Chill for 3 hrs (to allow the ingredients to gel), bring back to room temp and serve.
